Insurance and Billing

At Plaza Dental Center, we understand that the cost of even the most basic dental care may be prohibitive for some of our patients. However, we believe that no patient should have to forgo dental treatment because cost is a concern.

We offer convenient financing vendors and payment options so that even the most advanced dentistry treatments are within the reach of each of our patients. We also make it a point to fully inform patients of the cost of treatment before we begin a procedure, so patients will never suffer “sticker shock” when they receive their bill.

We accept most insurance plans and will gladly process your claims. Please bring the necessary information with you on your first visit, or you can call us with the necessary information so we can contact your insurance company and have them fax over a break down of your benefits and have it ready when you arrive. We will estimate your portion of your visit with this information. Insurance policies generally cover only a portion of the total treatment fees, so there may be a portion you owe the day services are rendered.

How much your insurance company will pay is a difficult question to answer. It depends on many factors.

  • The type of policy your Employer has chosen for you.
  • What amount of deductible applies to your policy?
  • The amount of the maximum allowed for the year.
  • Have you already used some of the benefits this year?
  • What exclusions and limitations apply?

We accept almost all dental insurance including Aetna, Ameritas Group, MetLife, BlueCross/BlueShield, Guardian, Principal, Cigna, United Concordia, Lincoln, Delta Dental, UnitedHealthcare and Essex Dental Benefits. If you have any questions about your plan feel free to call us at anytime.

Payment Options

We accept checks, cash, MasterCard, Discover, Visa, American Express and Debit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan through CareCredit and offer a Senior Courtesy discount of 10%. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Appointments
